I actually heard a rumor of this before reading all of this. I hope it is not true. I thought only weed smokers went to school down South?

His jersey number is 1 and they are organized (kinda) by number... plus, he's got some really noticeable eyebrows and I don't see them... |

I really really hope this is not true, moreso than I usually would with this sort of situation. With the week this program has had, making the news yet again for another issue would be immensely disappointing. this news pales in comparison. An athlete smokin' weed is not even illegal in Oregon....just against team and/or NCAA rules -though missing a chance for Omaha is just plain stupid on the players part. If 'C-boy' is not available I trust the Beavers have plenty of on-the-field options, specifically regard LF. Miss his bat, but wouldn't be surprised if Cary or Jones stepped up to contribute. |

Athletes smoking weed at this point isn't much in the way of news - just unfortunate to not have a valuable piece available in Omaha. The good news, of course, is we've got more depth than ever before.

The good news, of course, is we've got more depth than ever before. I obviously want us at full strength this week so any loss is disappointing to me, but if it's CD, our OF defense just got much better in an enormous park. Of course we lose something offensively, but I'll take defense and pitching all day long in Omaha. |

I hate to be Debbie downer but I've heard through on of my connections we have had a player fail a random drug test and he won't be going to Omaha. I won't mention the name because it hasn't been announced publicly. My wife's boss is connected to the athletic deot. Hope it's fake news I want to apologize - didn't think your post was credible, I was wrong... |
