Without a doubt 2017 goes into the books as the greatest home season in Goss Stadium history. 31-1, with 5 of 5 conference series wins (4 by sweep) plus NCAA Regional and Super Regional sweeps.
Goss has the best location in the conference. In the heart of campus; steps away from the Memorial Union and Quad.
Of the 11 conference home fields, 4 are located off campus (UT, UA, ASU, UCLA) and 4 on the periphery of campus (UW, WSU, UO, Stan)
Only 3 are located similar to Goss, in the heart of the main campus (OSU/Goss, Cal/Evans, USC/Dedeaux)
I hope that whatever the future pressure for additional capacity, OSU never uproots OSU baseball from its current location. It would be a big mistake.

Boss being the oldest continuously used ballpark in America just adds to its mystique. Safe to say it will never be moved. Renovated/expanded? Yes.

BTW OSU Gymnastics year after year has very high team GPA. Looking at the aerial, the proximity of the Gymnastics practice facility to Valley Library is telling. Any closer and it'd be inside the building.
