behind him. Maybe he can't, and maybe he shouldn't even be allowed to try. I do understand that opinions are like a--holes. The only one that seems to matter now belongs to an 11 year old girl. Some of you should not post your opinions about anything without some back stories.

It seems that since society has changed to accepting more previously unacceptable behaviors this circumstance would fall in line with that progression. I'm not saying it's the same I'm just wondering if it's an attempt to include.

You are blaming the Oregonian for this article? A newspaper? They found out about this one week ago and have multiple sources from Pierce County law enforcement, Benton County and the girl's mother. This is a sad story, but while I do not think Luke Heimlich should throw another pitch for Oregon State, I do not want to see his life wasted.

Casey's may as well, and this could explain why he gave LH a chance when others could not. I'm not advocating for any religion, just observing this could be part of story. I'm surprised the Oregonian did not explore this angle.

Obviously most of us know very little about the entire mess other than Luke actions were indeed deplorable. However nobody seem to be mentioning that he apparently has had to go through some therapy or treatments. Note he even played a couple of years in High School. It would be very hard to believe that the School Authorities would be allowing a dangerous kid to be involved in Athletics without close supervision and or restrictions. As a guess the Staff of OSU Baseball had to know about these charges when Luke was recruited. Therefore I believe Casey needs to make a Public Comment to clear the air. As a side note the Benton County Charges were dropped after they determined that Luke did not understand the Laws in Oregon.
