What does our starting rotation look like? Does Luke pitch at all since we are home and not on the road?

if the staff knew at the time of recruiting and decided to take Luke on, then they need to stand behind Luke and their decision and have Luke pitch Friday. if they didn't know, all bets are off

I don't think you can move him up a day. Jake was gassed as well on Saturday. If Luke doesn't go, maybe the best bet is Johnny Whole staff on Friday or Saturday. Interesting to say the least however this plays out. |

I'm going to play the Devils Advocate and guess Luke won't pitch. You go with Thompson on Friday. He's got a week's rest. Then You go with Ras, try to get 5 innings out of him and then long-liever Eisert. Save Britton, Mulholland, Englebrecht, Heck anyone for Sunday if Need be. No need to sugar coat this....it's a mess. I just hop e the rest of the team is mentally ready to handle the $hit show media circus that Danny "F*ck Nut" Moran threw at them. I'm glad I cancelled my Oregonian subscription a few months back.

He strikes me as the sort who would want to make a one time statement, then never speak on it again until after the season - what he knows, when he knew it, how he's proceeding, take a few questions. Then on to the baseball... |

Great news. If I'm Luke, I would want to go out there for my team rather than sit and thank about all this.

My opinion is he either doesn't pitch, or the matter is addressed beforehand. If nothing is said and he just hits the mound tomorrow that will probably be quite a mess. I understand respecting the lawyers on this, but it doesn't mean he has to pitch |

I'd like to see him pitch.
According to various websites, in Oregon sex offenders must register within the first 10 days of the offender's birthday month. For Luke, it's April apparently--a busy time of year for him I would assume. Failure to do so is a misdemeanor.
I'd like to see OSU stand behind their pitcher--if everything has been on the up and up.
