Your last post in the locked thread was unfair.
My post didnt tell tell anyone they were wrong. Only asked that they please be careful using loaded terms in connection with an a promising OSU recruit who has not signed yet.
Whether you acknowledge it or not, it IS a loaded term with more negative than positive connotations. Don't agree with me, read Websters.
We should be honoring this gifted young woman for choosing OSU not disparaging her. I 100% stand by that. Oregon State deserves our best at all times.
(Cue snarky response about my totally innocent posting alias. I won't be reading it).

100% agree! You are absolutely correct. Ditto. Squonk, your original response was spot-on and not an attack.

100% agree! You are absolutely correct. Ditto. Squonk, your original response was spot-on and not an attack. Appreciate it. I wasn't trying to be a jerk or elevate myself by putting someone else down. Just raising a point that I thought was worthy of consideration. And if the Benny's House site admins want to delete this thread - that's ok with me. I think anyone that needed to read it has read it.

Here's my take.
1- we don't know about the recruits socioeconomic status. we may think we know but we don't. even if we did, I think that we can come up with better descriptors. even with better descriptors, not sure it should even be addressed.
2. i've white washed and locked the subject thread. I will do so with this one as well.
3. squonk- you could (should?) have just sent bennyskid a private message.
4. thanks for the spirited discussion.
