We are 66 points ahead of North Carolina in the RPI ratings and if we win tonight we will still lose 67 RPI points so we may wake up tomorrow number two in the RPI for the first time in a long time not that it matters anymore

Yale's is in the 40's. Seems like they would drop more than us.

Yale's is in the 40's. Seems like they would drop more than us. Nope according to the same website, the best that North Carolina can do is add 5 Points if they win

Oregon State is now up 121 RPI points. And UNC is out of the tournament In a little known or used rule UNC will be an Auto qualifier for the CWS. It is known as the ACC rule. Anytime a "quality" ACC team "deserves" to be in the CWS they will be Auto slotted in. UNC with their rich history of CWS titles fits this slotting requirement this year and will not have to play a Super regional

UNC with their rich history of CWS titles fits this slotting requirement this year and will not have to play a Super regional ESPN has stepped in at the request of the SEC and all those who can't stand NC basketball to block invoking this rule.
