Smith is only hitting .265 in the hitter-friendly PCL. Hell, Mike Zunino hit .293 in Tacoma and aspires to the Mendoza Line in the majors.
Only other option at SS really is Motter, who filled in well for Segura the first time he was injured but is in a hitting slump himself and only hitting .209.

Awesome! One of my favorite Beavers! Too bad it's with the Mariners. With both Sam Gaviglio and Tyler Smith on the active roster, the Mariners are officially my new favorite team in the majors.
