Final from Stanford. Cal State Fullerton 13 - Brigham Young 2.
Cal State Fullerton is a tough two-seed. Virginia in Fort Worth does TCU no favors. Arizona in Lubbock does Texas Tech no favors. Those three are probably the three best two-seeds playing in national seed regionals.

If BYU does not force a seventh game, the champion of the Stanford Regional will get an extra day off going into the Super Regional against the Long Beach Regional champion.

If BYU does not force a seventh game, the champion of the Stanford Regional will get an extra day off going into the Super Regional against the Long Beach Regional champion. If there is a need for a game seven it is already scheduled to be played Monday even if BYU is not in it. |
