Casey is so good at stockpiling incredible talent. For almost any other PAC 12 team, Preston Jones would have been a regular starter. Of course that depth can also mean that players sometimes depart (Joe Gillette / Billy King). And yet only in the past few games has Jones had the opportunity to fully display his talents. For goodness sakes he hit .460 with an OBP of .563 as a high school senior last year. Potential lead off hitter and OF (CF?) next year or the year after [he also played 3B in HS in Vancouver WA]. Great to see freshmen like Mullholland, Rutschman and others lining up to be the team leaders of the future.

I agree. I've been impressed with Preston's speed all season, but he is showing he is a lot more than a pair of quick feet.
