The WCC field of 64 bid should go to Gonzaga. Even though BYU won the WCC tournament today, the Zags own the tiebreaker with both BYU and Loyola Marymount, whom they tied for 1st place in the conference. Zags RPI is 51, BYU's is 58, and Loyola Marymount's is 65.
Or does BYU get an auto bid because they won the conference tourney?.

Gonzaga is a lot closer to Corvallis than BYU. (437 miles vs. 823 miles). So send the Zags HERE!
Send BYU to Stanford, they are 12 miles closer than we are.

UCLA's is 52. All of the major projections have UCLA in. D1Baseball was projecting that the West Coast Conference was a two-bid league. I suppose we will see, if they are correct.

A Tweet from yesterday stated that LMU would lose out on an at large bid since BYU won the conference tourney.

If it's like basketball the conference's automatic bid is awarded to the conference tournament champion. If the regular season champion is different they have to hope for an at-large bid.

Well, if it's on Twitter, it's settled.
LMU: 38-18, RPI 65 1-4 vs Top 50. They aren't going anywhere. Zags: 33-20 RPI 50 1-4 vs Top 50. Very much on the bubble, and I would guess on the wrong side. In the early season they lost series against Fullerton and UCLA, 2-1. I think if you flip one of those series around, they would be in. Or maybe if their game with OSU hadn't been cancelled - and they won it. But having just one Top-50 win really sucks.
UCLA 30-25 RPI: 52, 10-10 vs Top 50. But they are ahead of Arizona in the Pac with a 19-11 record and won their series AT Stanford. They have a couple other good games, beating Long Beach twice and getting a win against Oregon State. They have some head-scratching losses, too. But there is enough good in there to get them in - unless Meggs.

SO STUPID!!!!! But imagine if the conference tournament wasn't played for a guaranteed playoff spot. A conference regular season champion (with tourney bid already locked up) would be strongly influenced to tank their first round game in preference to resting arms before the tournament. One end of season loss to a conference opponent being unlikely to impact their ultimate tournament seeding. This is one of the reasons why I like the Pac-12 not having a baseball tournament.

I get your point. I just think conference tourney's are stupid and disrespect the work of the conference champ. Traveling, schoolwork, etc...

D1baseball.com's Final Field of 64 has Zags coming here, BYU goes to Lubbock. I could also see BYU going to LB State.

D1baseball.com's Final Field of 64 has Zags coming here, BYU goes to Lubbock. I could also see BYU going to LB State. Three main projections: Baseball America, D1Baseball, and College Sports Madness. D1Baseball has Gonzaga in. Baseball America has Gonzaga as one of the first four out. College Sports Madness has Gonzaga as one of the first five out. If Gonzaga gets in, the Zags seem a good fit in Corvallis. D1Baseball has them in Corvallis. Baseball America has BYU in the Corvallis Regional. College Sports Madness, the worst of the three, has Brigham Young in Stanford and San Diego State in Corvallis. To me, San Diego State makes more sense in Stanford. BYU would make more sense in Corvallis.
