Is he still banged up from the HBP or did he just get the game off?

Yes. Got the day off... Looked like he was going to get yesterday off as well until he was summoned to pinch hit in the 6th. I don't think they gave him the time off to try to avoid the mercy rule. Some concern about Kwan and KJ as well. Substantial interest in the starting line up tomorrow.

Good to hear Madrigal could have played if needed. Beavs will need him healthy and doing his thing next weekend.
Jones, Malone, and Armstrong (or was it Atwood?) have played well replacing the injured players. I hope Casey lets some other position player bench guys get in tomorrow in some capacity. As for pitching- looking for Fehmel and Tweedt to rise up from the ashes and regain past mastery.
Hoping all the injured players will rest again tomorrow and nobody else gets hurt in this important but kind of meaningless game.
