Drew Rassmussen? Seems he could benefit from 1 more year. Gretler? Becoming a real Stud at the Plate Cary? Yet to play healthy. Martinek? Who knows? Jack Anderson? Why not?

I think there is 0% chance that Rasmussen comes back.
Gretler's hitting and versatility make him an interesting draft pick, especially if teams think he can catch.
I would guess Jack Anderson would be back.
No clue on Cary and Martinek, why wouldn't they be back?

I'd say Drew is most likely gone. He could improve his stick to a sure-fire first rounder next year, but that's another season to risk without getting paid. I think Cary will go the way of Caleb Hamilton and leave even if he's only drafted in the later rounds. He's struggled to find consistent playing time this year, and there's no clear path to playing time next year either. He has the tools that scouts like though so he'll drafted for sure. Gretler is 50/50 in my mind right now. Martinek won't get drafted, and at this point I don't expect him to contribute next year. He'll join Adam Duke as high profile recruits who never panned out here. I'll be shocked if Anderson gets drafted. So I expect him back unless he decides to go pro in something other than baseball.

Rass- If you get drafted high enough....take it. Cary - ditto, We are deep with outfielders and Nobach is coming back next year. Gretler - Get drafted high enough, take it. If not, come back. Martinek - tough couple of years for him. Injuries and loss of family member. Doubt he gets drafted. Anderson - Already has told people that he is coming back. Wants his degree in Engineering. Guy is really smart.

Rass - take it now; you are impressing the heck out of the scouts with how well you are bouncing back - not much more he can show. Cary - still bouncing back from the injury; he may or may not go Gretler - better leverage this year as a junior and a great season in the field and at the plate - would like to see him back but where he gets drafted might make a difference here. Martinek - I don't know enough Anderson - getting the piece of paper matters, and he will be a big factor in our lineup next year.

Rass- no reason to return when you're a hard thrower coming off TJ Gretler- needs to come back to gain some size. He's not a corner guy in body type yet. If he goes he's in for extended minors career or a move to corner OF Cary- if drafted it is very very low and if he goes you know it's because he sees limited PT. I see him staying to prove himself or even transferring for regular PT. Martinek- not on a "radar" right now. He'd have to have quite a summer to contribute here. Too many questions about him, but a scout could convince a club to take a very low rd flyer on him if they've seen him throw I the side. Also a possible transfer type. Anderson- just seems like the 4yr / baseball is not my career type.

I wonder if a deep run in Omaha without the Title would bring back Rass. Seems to be a great Team Leader and might want a National Championship. Gretler seems to have a great upside if he gained about 25# and could be a real killer hitter next year. Maybe just hoping... LOL

Gretler will likely go. The fact that he's still kind of skinny won't matter, MLB teams are always "projecting" body types down to HS kids.
If they think he can get bigger, they'll have him do it in the minors rather than doing it at OSU.
You never know, though. Some guys like Wetzler will come back even when they've been drafted in the top 10 rounds.
Your chances of making $$ at baseball when you are an 11+ rounder out of college are pretty slim, and the signing bonuses at those rounds are typically not large.
As a college Senior, you'll be lucky to get $25K even if you're drafted in the top ten rounds. It's all relative.

LOL If Ras had any doubt that he was gone after this year, he should have sat out all year and used his redshirt. As I understand it, he is already 21, so he is draft eligible whether he is a redshirt sophomore or a true junior. As a true junior, he loses pretty much all of his leverage, if he returns for his senior season. I am not saying it is impossible that Ras returns, just highly unlikely.
