Final. OSU 14 WSU 3 Oregon State 27-3 final conference record (Pac-12 record). 45-4 overall 4 non-conf reg season games remaining. was trying to figure out how ASU could have 26 wins in the pac 10. In today's scheduling that would be 26-1 (9 3 game series, today 10 3 game series). Did some a google search...Looks like in 81 the pre North/South divide still existed. ASU played 30 conference games..just like today en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1981_Arizona_State_Sun_Devils_baseball_teamMore than 3 games per opponent???

The 6-Pac, as they were sometimes called, played each opponent home and away. In 1981, it looks like one of the games in Berkeley rained out and was made up in Tempe. Arizona State did not play a single team from the Pac-10 North. The Pac-12 North similarly played a home-and-away round robin. 18 conference games. Washington won the North by a game over Oregon and Oregon State. (The Beavers lost a home game, because of a rainout against Wazzu in Corvallis, finishing 2-2 in Pullman.) Stanford, who finished second in the 6-Pac played Washington for a spot in the Tournament and won both games.

It's unusual to play 43 regular season home games?
