We had a party of 6 there last night. Entry was atrocious with stories of 1 hour to get from Salem to a parking spot. Concession lines were long. Took 2 innings to get dogs. One of our party decided to go for nachos instead of dogs and was gone for 5 innings, and then they ran out of ingredients. I have been to multiple games there starting with our HS team playing there during spring break of 99. Couple of Volcanos games and 2 state championships games with Dallas Buck on the mound. Also 2nd Beaver game there. Last night was the worst of those experiences. Still better than the game in Surprise this year when they ran out of dogs. Riles!!!! Ok, they ran out of dogs... bad deal. But, come on, no comparison between the facilities and atmosphere... not to mention the weather. Right??? LOL |

LOL Well this year in Surprise did not have weather like our 1st 2 years, but even the 1st rainy Saturday was warmer than the 7th inning on last night, plus lots of seats under cover in Surprise. I hear that... rain there is better than about 90% of our in-state games this year. Should be great this weekend though!!! |

I thought I'd be out of town so gave my tix to my son and his friends. I'll have to scrape some up... but, not paying double what the StubHub crowd asks!! LOL Have a great time... |

We stay at Welk in Escondido, and drive down. Did the real tourist things last trip 2 years ago, now time for some San Diego in-depth. Thanks. Hopefully the stream will be working.
