Way to Go Luke! Keep it up! I love how consistently great Nick Madrigal is, that a 8 for 14 weekend (.570 BA!) doesn't even get him mentioned for batter of the week  Like the people who nominate these things are like, "Oh, look, Nick just batted over 550 for the weekend, ho hum, just his norm" |

this is getting embarrassing. What also is embarrassing is that Nick didn't even get nominated Even if it was vs Cal pitching you should get nominated. Especially after a little slump had dropped his average 40 points... you get nominated for a .571 weekend. |

Adley was nominated instead... I believe only one player from each team can be nominated and it's the coaches who decide (could be wrong on that second part). Adley was on base 5 times this weekend, had 6 RBI, and made 4-5 spectacular defensive plays. Nick gets plenty of local and national recognition -- I'm fine with Adley getting some praise. |
