Regarding #1, just checking if this taking into consideration that Saturday is game 3 of the series against Oregon.

Do we move him considering he probably has a weekly routine at this point and pitchers are a creature of habit? Or do we feel confident enough that one of the other kids can slot into the #2 starter spot and hold their own? I don't have an answer - or preference really. More of a thinking out loud moment. Of course as Mr. Cool pointed out, we go Thu-Sat this week anyways so that sort of blows away my weekly routine theory.
One thing I'll say about Thompson - he's so much more fun to watch now. Works fast (which I love) and challenges hitter versus nibbling at the corners. Thought that really used to do him in, trying to be too fine, then he'd get behind and then it would snowball from there.

Looks like Fehmel is out for this Friday but I can't see Jake moving up two days so he stays at Saturday this week. My thinking is still that Jake could move up to the #2 spot against WSU since that would mean a full 7 days and another Saturday start. It will probably depend on how well the Friday night guy(s) does(do)this week. Should be interesting!
