I was at the game and the gals seemed flat. Taylor Cotton started the third game in a row and gave up a 2 run homer in the 2nd. You see a pitcher enough and it may turn in the hitters favor. Taylor was done after 2.
Frosh Nerissa Eason came in and pitched the rest of the way. She can sure bring it. Biggest struggle she has is always getting behind in the count.
We are 27 and 23 with a 3 game series at Cal to end the season. We have some quality wins so I think we will be in the tournament.
On a sad note the #5 pukes hosted #2 Florida State and swept 'em. Even run ruled 'em one game. No question they are operating under the, 'if you build it they will come' axiom but I truly laugh at how desperate they are to win NC's and be recognized throughout the land. I understand we all want that as fans but they are sooooo annoying. In fact, I think there are more haters of them throughout the land than just us.
