I liked what I saw from Drew today, and am glad Case let him stay in to finish the job, however the one thing that concerned me is that he wasn't missing very many bats. If I remember correctly I don't think he recorded a strikeout and while that's not the end of the world and he got the win, he should and does have the stuff to make guys miss more than he did today. His command isn't completely back yet and that's part of it, but he's also a guy that hits mid 90s and can use that fastball to overpower hitters which he didn't seem to do too much.
I still think Drew is our best arm when fully healthy and all his stuff is working for him, he just needs more time to continue to get into game shape. Do I think he's ready to start next weekend against hole? I'd love to see it but I'm not sure the coaching staff wants to put him in that situation yet. Getting him back is a huge asset to this team and with Bryce struggling of late it does give the team another option come post season play but I just don't think we're gonna see him get a start quite yet unless we see him on a somewhat limited pitch count.

Next Saturday will be an interesting decision. Next Saturday will be Jake T. It's a Thur/Fri/Sat series. But point taken. I'm curious to see who starts. I think its time for a change.

Like nobody knows. Fehmel throw BP Speed and has to hit spots and use a good breaking ball or he is toast. The question is can one of the Frosh actually throw 5 or 6 innings without walking the Ball Park.
