I had a feeling it would be. OSU webcam on Goss showed no one in stands and no BP going on. Too bad, but this spring has just sucked weather wise.

On the bright side - weather Friday Saturday Sunday looks very inviting. Here's hoping the bats heat up along with the temps. USC pitching staff has struggled this season.

It's OK. I've visualized us winning anyway!

Doesn't hurt the Beavers to not play. Although I'm sure Sam Tweedt must be asking, "What is it going to take to get a start?". He's down to two, possibly three more opportunities, depending on whether Rassy starts. Hang in there Sam, you'll get your pitches in.
As for the Evil Empire, they needed this for RPI reasons. Even a loss would have raised it for them.

What is ticket refund policy on rainout? No refunds. And most likely no makeup game. Money down the drain. That makes three this year, the most that i can ever recall.

I think that the Athletic department should rethink this policy.... I have 4 season tickets and then for this game some friends wanted to come so weeks ago I bought the only available tickets 4 in Right Field. Then yesterday... they open up more reserve seating (I'm assuming student tickets that were not picked up?) so I buy 2 more of those so we can get 2 more people into the grandstand area and really enjoy Goss.... So, I'm financially committed to this game.
I leave work early to meet friends at Sky High just to have the game rained out? No delay? No refund? I love my Beaver Baseball but I will think twice about buying extra tickets in the future for sure.
We are all smart enough to come up with several good options for future tickets to other games not sold out... partial refunds.... a tshirt? Throw me a bone.

Will this game get rescheduled? Will your tickets at least be good for that? IF I ordered a calzone at American Dream and after I paid they realized they were all out, they wouldn't just say, "Welp, sorry about that!" and then not give me my money back or apply the total to something else! Seems impossible to me that they can just keep the cash after not delivering a product...

No refunds? My credit card company would be getting a call if that were the case. You can call them all day but the Oregon State will just counter that the policy on rainouts is available for people to read if they take the time. That said, I do think throwing people a bone who bought tickets is a good idea

Rep said they don't concern themselves with policies based on what can be arbitrary decisions... vendors also have "fine print" agreements with CC companies and card company will always trump (no pun intended) vendor policy. No tix delivered (extras were at Will Call) no charge.

Seems like one way to do it is to provide a voucher towards a future Beaver event- doesn't necessarily have to be baseball - but hey, it's not like we sell out for football for example, I saw some empty seats in Gill during hoops - though that would have been more of a punishment - anyways- maybe you get a few more butts in seats? I have no idea what other schools do, but then other schools aren't experiencing 749 consecutive days of drizzle.

Chase reversed my 3 extra tix immediately. Rep said they don't concern themselves with policies based on what can be arbitrary decisions... vendors also have "fine print" agreements with CC companies and card company will always trump (no pun intended) vendor policy. No tix delivered (extras were at Will Call) no charge. I don't recall how credit card "disputes" like this work but I hope it's the case of the CC company refusing to make payment to our beloved OSU rather than them paying OSU and then eating the charges on your behalf. I'm guessing since he said it was pending and never cleared it was OSU who lost the $$$. I have had this and other financial discussions with AD and ticket office. I really do not get upset, but inform them that the only way I have to make my point is financially. When they elected to go with Banners I dropped (2) Omaha and (4) other season tix. I've never missed a game I've wanted to go to and only have to worrying about rain outs when I buy tix for others going with. I did the same when they pulled the RV parking moves... downgraded several tix, dropped some. Again it has never effected my attending or bringing others. But, like another post mentioned... I'll give a business two chances... after that I do not have to spend my $$ there. In the case of OSU I still spend plenty of money, but have also been able to make it known that I've been very unhappy. I will say that the policies that have made me scratch my head were under the last AD's tenure and seemed to be based on laziness/lack of creativity. It seemed they just made "easy" decisions, but hardly well thought out.

I wonder if that is why the "print at home" ticket option is less expensive than "Will Call".
If you print at home, you have received your tickets and can't have the Credit Card Co cancel/not pay ?
