Not sure if it is due to the format here, but that "coat of arms" looks a little childish / elementary??

Not sure if it is due to the format here, but that "coat of arms" looks a little childish / elementary?? Sadly I agree. It's like a crest for an elementary school. All the depictions of a beaver, mountain, etc. are kind of cartoonish in nature. its almost like its a graphic, huh?

A graphic symbol must be simple in order to be reproduced in countless different formats without losing its graphic clarity. I think it's great.

its almost like its a graphic, huh? Well said. A graphic symbol must be simple in order to be reproduced in countless different formats without losing its graphic clarity. I think it's great. It's pretty much just the damned letterhead, so I really don't care that much. That said, I tend to dislike the broad stroke, blocky "graphics" people come up with these days in order to be "reproduced in countless different formats without losing graphic clarity". Basically, that means they want it to look OK on a computer screen, and print out easily on a printer. With the 4K resolution and huge computer displays we have these days, you'd think they could put a little more detail in it and not worry about it. I liked the pen and ink Benny before they started diluting that down with the wide lines. Eventually, the pendulum will swing back the other way, and people will wonder why we had these "kiddie" drawings. SaveSave
