Baseball America, Perfect Game and D1baseball. I'm assuming we will be #1 in Collegiate Baseball News and ESPN/USAToday poll. They usually come out later.

#1 in Massey, too. Projected to go 16-3 down the stretch to finish the regular season 48-6. Oregon (#35) is the toughest opponent left. Followed by California (#66), USC (#90), Wazzu (#113), Abilene Christian (#252), and Portland (#263).

Man, that 4 game set with Abilene Christian to end the year is a real stinker...

Man, that 4 game set with Abilene Christian to end the year is a real stinker... Indeed, totally a stinker in terms of Beavs RPI. Hopefully results in games before that final series keep the Beavers hosting credentials in line. Jumping ahead a bit (admittedly putting the cart before the horse), IF one or more of those Abilene Christian games should see the Beavers "separate" as Mike Parker likes to say (their team ERA is just below "7"), it could give OSU an opportunity for some rest of key players and/or provide a final opportunity for lesser used players b4 post-season.

I don't think that series will mean a hill of beans. The BEAVS will have the Pac 12 wrapped up by, (predicting here...) 4+ games. The committee will know it and will also know PC will use the series to get staff in order... get in work for key bench guys... any type of injury recovery. You win the Pac12 by that much and in Top 4, you've already been seeded. Beavs go 14-5 or better they are a top 4 seed... prob could only slip to a 2 or 3 unless two teams go on some 15-16 win streak to end the season. If they do what they should going 2-2 or 3-1 won by make a difference that last weekend. PS- weather is not supposed to be that bad tomorrow, if they get a downpour before ucks leave spewgene don't be surprised if this game goes the way of the Gonzaga game. Our kids/pitching staff are spent and could use the break before SC series.

Completely agree. Hopefully this year it means nothing. Maybe get a couple kids AB's that will need to see a pinch-batter or two.
