Donahue coaxes a lead off walk, barely, in the 5th. First lead off hitter to get on today for either team.

Still scoreless after 6. Donahue still learning that you need to yell "Ball" on pop flies so Grenier doesn't bump into you.

And UCLA gets a double by inches on a two strike pitch with two down. 1-0 Bruins in the 7th. Bad breaks.

Well, at least one team knows how to get the job done today. Hope Beavs learned something.

Inning ends, but damn they got the break and OSU hasn't. It probably was a pitch that was off the plate, and the guy still got the barrel on it.

Well, at least one team knows how to get the job done today. Hope Beavs learned something. Hopefully the Beavers come back and win this game but the achilles heel of this team is situational hitting against better pitchers. Yes, they hit the ball against the lesser pitching but fail to get one when they need it against the better pitching. As far as hitting goes there really isn't a lot of players with eye popping averages at the plate. The Beavers have been winning games with pitching and defense. They haven't been a prolific hitting team, which worries me going forward
