Here's hoping that their losses to Furd yesterday and today (no doubt before massive home crowds) is just the start of a further slide toward 2017 season obscurity for TSDTR. Many prognosticators still had them in the field of 64 going into the weekend. Series losses at home to middling opponents can do wonders in regard to killing that possibility. I think their real problem is that Furd took them out of their game plan - only 1 hbp over a 2 game span. Dammit George! Teach these guys some 'fundamentals' !!

Don't rule them out, you forgot the swoosh money in the ncaa pockets. Amen to that. They had an RPI around 60 and somehow got in a few years ago. Box score from yesterday said they had 1731 in attendance, today they had 1912. |
