The committee typically matches the regionals geographically for super regionals. Although only two west coast hosts maximum can make it to Omaha, if the four west coast hosts win their regionals, that would guarantee two west coast regional hosts in Omaha. There were two west coast teams in Omaha last year, but neither was a regional host. The last time that two west coast regional hosts went to Omaha was 2013, when Oregon State and UCLA went. UCLA was paired with Cal State Fullerton that year. Oregon was inexplicably given a national seed in 2013, but regionals from the same conference are typically not paired together, so Oregon was paired with NC State, and Oregon State was paired with Kansas State. D1Baseball actually matches Fullerton up with Arizona but pits Long Beach State against Texas Tech. It pits Oregon State with LSU. In all probability, I would guess that the committee would switch Long Beach State to play Oregon State and have LSU paired with Texas Tech. That makes more sense to me.
