When the Beavers make it to the CWS does the school or the alumni assoc. set up travel packages to Omaha for the time the Beavers are there?

I don't recall ever having any travel packages offered for Omaha. Every time we have gone we have had no problem buying decent tickets through the OSU ticket office but things like flights and hotels you were always on your own.
You have probably noticed that hotel rooms for Omaha are at a very high price for at least the first week of the CWS. Part of the reason is that they also book a whole bunch of club baseball tournaments that same week and the hotels fill up early and fast. I booked our hotel room months and months ago with the thought we would cancel if the Beavers don't make it there......the only way to get a decent rate that I know of.

Rooms do empty and become cheaper once teams are eliminated after the Regionals. Teams holding rooms cancel... a lot of higher seeds/regulars losing is a good thing for rooms/ prices. I've booked in one hotel, been on a stand by at a better one until rooms come open. Omaha is one giant "game" come CWS time... but, worth it.
