...and what does he have to show for first 3 AB's? 2nd pitch of game he singles (and eventually scores). One out, top of third: opposite field HR on a 1-2 count. Mets 2-0. He ain't going back to AAA. Up again in T5, draws a walk to load bases with zero outs.

Filled out the stat line. 2 for 4 3 runs scored 1 RBI 1 HR 2 K's
I don't think lead off is his spot in the order. But keep grinding Micael

Leadoff (and CF) both seem like a bit of a stretch for Conforto, but more power to him if he can make it work.
I see him more as a LF, possibly RF (if his throwing arm has gotten a little stronger), and a #2-5 hitter - depending on the lineup around him.
