Beavers needed a quality start from Jake and he has delivered big time. Thompson spent last summer with a pitching coach in Bend. Don't know how much he tweaked the mechanics, but the mental approach is definitely different.

I just literally lol'd. Thanks! I grew up a Yankee fan, but when we got cable in the early 80s, Dale Murphy was a Brave. so they became my MLB team. Loover the Braves of the 90s with their starting pitching. |
