Coach Bergs comments:
We’re a very talented team,” Berg said. “We haven’t quite hit on all cylinders with defense, pitching and hitting. I’m waiting for somebody to step up and take the bull by the reins and start leading people. I think we’re missing a little bit of a leadership. The two things that are killing us right now this year are walks and errors.
Waiting for leadership? Anyone care to comment?

Usually the best players on a team are looked at by the other players as natural choices for leadership. If the best players don't have the leadership gene then hopefully some juniors and seniors with a few years experience can fill the role. I watched a little of the ASU series but am not that familiar with the team to know their personalities. Apparently coach Berg is trying to get some people to step up. I like coach Berg and am rooting for her and the team to succeed in a tough league.

Pretty easy to dismiss yourself as the issue when you a) say we've got talent and b) say that you are just waiting for someone to step up as a leader. This team plays without very much confidence and that's on coach. So coach Berg the leader we are all waiting for to step up is you.
