Good move on Neighbors' part - he rode the Plum/Osahor gravy train as far as it would take him, and while the cupboard might not be bare next season, the Pac-12 will be tough.....
Regarding that legendary assistant coach in the NW, I noticed Nicole Powell driving a bunch of the huddles for that team, he might want to take his show on the road before too long.....

I wonder whether a certain assistant coach with NW ties might feel he's ready to be the head man of his own program? Then he could claim sole credit for the accomplishments of 3 teams. It would be about time. The man has earned it several times over. I've always felt that it was shameful how these head coaches take advantage of him - taking all the credit (and the big paychecks) for the victories that they won with the ladies that he identified and recruited. If UW hires him, they'll dominate the west coast for the next three decades. As I think about it, I'm not entirely sure whether we wouldn't be better off cancelling WBB, rather than endure the twice-yearly beatdowns we'll experience at the hands of the parade of 5* recruits he'll bring to UW. I imagine the Seattle Storm may have to move - the gap in talent will be too obvious and embarrassing for the WNBA franchise. ESPN will almost certainly move their HQ to Seattle so they can give him the same obsessive coverage they gave Auriemma for all these years. WBB will never be the same.

Good thing Coach Rueck does not care about getting paid for performance in the coaching ranks. The cheapest deal in the nation for sure of the sweet sixteen teams playing this year. Funny he does not even put a little bit of leverage out there to sweeten his bank account

Are you sure about that? Rueck got a pretty good contract after last year. He's paid reasonably well - and surely more than the Quinnipiac coach.

The one place Mike Neighbors has not won a game: Gill Coliseum..... Interesting factoid for such a successful coach.
Hopefully our streak is associated more with the school, UW, and not with the coach.

Funny he does not even put a little bit of leverage out there to sweeten his bank account Ruecks base salary at the beginning of the season was $515,004. Plus I am sure his base salary will be going up this year.

Lavonda Wagner was fired with 3 years left on her deal. She would have been paid $350K, 400K and $420K in the final 3 years of her deal. Rueck's original deal signed back in 2010 called for him to make $160K in the first year, escalating up to $275K in year 6 (which would've been the 2015-16 season). I'd say he's done pretty well increasing his salary for someone who "doesn't put any leverage" on the university.
