They made some really dumb decisions down the stretch, and MSU is athletic and aggressive. Good combination.

They made some really dumb decisions down the stretch, and MSU is athletic and aggressive. Good combination. And mentally tough... lost by 60... ya 60 in last year's sweet 16 to UConn. That is mental fortitude!

ESPN and UConn certainly a match made in heaven for their empire. They almost got away with getting that horrible call at the end.
Too bad Stanford gave up their lead in their game. Could have stolen a championship here.

best thing that could have happened for WBB, it will help the women's game move forward. a dominant team is one thing but UCONN has too much separation from the pack. it also wipes the smug look off geno's face. he is, as it was said about bill walsh ,a man that would never blush when you called him a genius.

Could have stolen a championship here. I will admit to NOT being a rules guru in basketball, but the "flagrant" foul that they went back to after an entire other possession occurred appeared to be completely inadvertent to me (and included at least a bit of a flop from the "victim"). Anyhow, that type of play and foul right there is one of the reasons I have always only been a casual fan of basketball. SaveSave

SaveSaveya, I couldn't tell on that flagrant foul call if the ESPN announcers were actually sitting on the UCONN bench. I thought their reasoning was pathetic and showed total bias toward the networks interest. to say the play was away from the ball is a joke, there was an entry pass being made to the UCONN player that was knock away by another miss st. player before it got there. as for the contact, it looked mutual to me and the flop by the UCONN player would have made any soccer fan proud. I hate to say this but I think all ESPN cares about is ratings !
