Still waiting for the line-ups to be posted. In the meantime - 1) Going to go out on a limb and say that I think they'll get this one in today. 2) We could see Madrigal vs his twin brother Ty who is a lefty pitcher for St. Marys.. 3pm start time...  |

Madrigal flyout, Anderson ground out, Donahue strike out.
Bottom half - infield single, stolen base, 2 flyouts and a ground out for Tweedt.
Is anyone else alarmed at the number of strike outs by Donahue? He's got to be striking out about 1/3 of the time right now.

Just looked - last year he struck out 30 times in 192 ABs. this season - 19 in 64 ABs. ouch. |

Tweedt gives up an opposite field solo shot. I thought Anderson was going to run through the wall.
update: Kwan just replaced Anderson in RF. So I think the wall definitely won the match-up. Hopefully nothing major.

Top 3 Malone with a single, but that's it.
Bottom 3 - Tweedt gives up a single and walk. Doesn't look particularly sharp -expect a Yeskie visit soon.
This one certainly has some Arizona-hangover potential so far.. but obviously a lot of game left to play.
Pick off move to 2B gets into the OF. Runners on 2nd and 3rd, Tweedt gets out of the jam with a K and groundout. On to the 4th.
I'll have to step away for a bit. So I'm handing over the keys to the Beavermobile.

Bases loaded in 9th, 2 outs and their closer walks Atwood to make it 3-2. Then goes 2-0 on Madrigal and they pull him for a lefty...... COME ON NICK!!!!

Kwan gets a single to left but Atwood is called out at the plate. In my opinion he was safe (as Mike Parker's). LF for St Mary's now has 7 assists, crazy.
