Newspaper article of a couple days ago indicates that she is undecided. She will have her degree this year.

No. And there won't be any word until after this season concludes. So, in the words of Little Jimmy Dickens...

She has a chance to pick up a free MBA from practically any top school in the country. What a huge opportunity for her. OSU has a fine business school, but if she opts to head to a place like Penn or Northwestern, I could only wish her the best. (Stanford or Cal, though, would just be VILE TREACHERY!)

You can get an MBA in one year?

A lot of schools offer a 1-year MBA (including Northwestern). It would be quite a challenge working that in with the demands of playing BBall, but even if you get half or two-thirds of an MBA - that's a hella deal!

I am suspecting you are speaking of treachery somewhat tongue-in-cheek, but hard to tell on the internet :-). Bre has bled black-and-orange, she has given her all on the court......according to the newspaper article, she took a redshirt year both to develop her game in the face of little P.T. and work on her schooling (she was on a five year trajectory but was able to get back to a four year graduation plan, and her game grew leaps and bounds as well)....so at least in my books, I will end up wishing her the best regardless of what she plans to do next. These student-athletes need to exercise their best judgement to leverage their talents to land in the best circumstances possible - I hope that is another year with the Beavers, but that is for Bre to decide. As far as I can tell, she didn't cause any issues while on the team, academic or otherwise, and she is an obvious contributor, and will graduate with a degree from OSU as well. If she chooses to leverage what she has earned as a Beaver to gain postgraduate education anywhere else, *I* will wish her well. I may not be rooting for the team whose jersey she dons to do well against my beloved Beavers (and by extension for Bre to do well against the Beavers in this (I hope hypothetical) situation), but I will have a very hard time accusing her of any treachery whatsoever given what she has done on behalf of our school these past four years .
Now, were this journey to take her just 40 miles south of OSU, all bets are off, and we are talking high treason!! :-) Go Beavs!

She has to take care of herself and do what is best for her and her future. From what I have read she realizes that and is struggling with what to do. And, trying to put it on the back burner until this run is done. Class act.
Best wishes and thanks for everything.
