At least Bannister and Dalbec are gone. We still have to deal with JC Cloney and Ming though.

I expect a series win, but not a sweep. Hard to sweep in the Pac-12. These guys were the CWS runner up last year, they are not slouches.

Certainly the top UA arms are very good. Those first four guys have great numbers, but after that seems to be a bunch of guys with as many hits and BB given up as inning pitched. With OS ability to jump on the offense early, hopefully we they can get those starters in enough trouble the change is made. In the end I think these are close games. I expect OS team batting average to remain at .293 or so after the series, UA's to fall to just over .300, they aren't going to be feasting on Hartford. I hope it's heavy, wet, still air and the ball park plays big. Casey plays serious speed in the outfield and some of those big flies for UA fall harmlessly into Beavers' gloves. Johnson is the one coach in the conference who I think is on Pat Casey's level. Will he adjust to the conditions and manufacture runs quick enough?

Right now it looks like is going to be damp and cold, and playing between showers potentially, which ought to disrupt some of their pitching rotation; our pitchers are used to it. Also, the wind is going to be blowing in from the south. Beaver hitters have to keep up the long at bats and force their starting pitching to elevate their pitch counts by the 7th inning. Hate the fact that I am going to be out of town and miss these games, Go Beavs!
