An amazing young woman. Did anyone see immediately after the final horn, when she should have been celebrating with her team mates, Sydney noticed Creighton's guard (I think) in tears and she walked over, picked her up and gave a her a hug. I think that says all you need to know about Sydney and should be included in any highlight reel.

I did notice that - what a CLASS act (yes, I hope the folks that will vote on that CLASS award were taking notes). Win or lose, through ups and downs, she has really set a high bar for what it means to be a Beaver. Someone we can all be proud of, look forward to her future accomplishments, and enjoy the fact that we all got to see someone special help build something special. Go Beavs! |
