We were trailing today 4-1 in the bottom of the 7th with 2 outs and Natalie Hampton hit a 3 run homer to tie it. Unfortunately in the top of the 8th zona plated three runs to win.
Sadly we struck out 16 times today. 14 in game two of the series. Interesting in that I heard somewhere that our players work with technology that is supposed to increase their visual ability when it comes to hitting. FYI...IT'S NOT WORKING!
Anyone out there heard of this procedure?

I saw a video where the guys were chasing a laser in a darkened room. It would show up on a wall in front of them and they would cover it with their hand and then it would move, repeat.
My Daughter has pretty bad double vision at times and she is doing ALL SORTS of vision therapy to try and correct it (perfect vision otherwise).
In the end the eye and especially the muscles that move, control and focus it are all just like any other muscles in your body, they can be trained, strengthened and improved.

I play guitar and was thinking how I could practice forming the chords but unless I press on the strings and strum the rythym I'm not going to get better at the act of playing guitar. Just a thought.

Grip strength, finger mobility / flexibility, nail and cuticle care, are all good things to be doing to help improve your guitar performance, and none of them have to be done with guitar in hand...
