It's so nice to see Jake having such a great start to this season. Seems like he has taken some minor bashing from some fans over the last couple years while dealing with some injuries.
He has come into his own this year now that he's healthy (probably matured some as well) and is throwing very well.
Speaking of throwing, I saw our current team ERA is at 1.06 after 18 games. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! That is absolutely ridiculous.
I realize this is unlikely to hold (says captain obvious) but if the staff can even keep it somewhat close to realistic it should be a great year.
Keep up the good work (pitching, hitting, fielding) as we definitely have the look of a contender.
