Play well under these cicumstances and hosting a super-regional is a lock. Win the PAC and finish the season ranked in the top 5 and the road to Omaha is easier. (Not easy, but easier). Can't host if you don't finish in the top 12 or so. In baseball especially, it is harder to climb the rankings than it is to fall down them.
