No, I don't think it will be us, but it might. I see the Beavs as the new #2 team.
Current #1 TCU lost 2 of 3 over the weekend, and #2 Florida went a dismal 2-3 for the week. #3 Florida State went 2-1, and I think they will stay ahead of us.
There are only five other teams that have one loss in all of D1 baseball.
For you stats guys and gals, according to Boyd's World, our RPI is #9 and our ISR is #4. Both are very impressive for this early in the season.
If you don't have your room reservations made for Omaha, I think you better get busy. This team is on the cusp of greatness. It's our time. GO BEAVS!

Well, we will find out how good we are with the pac starting this week. We have a potent lineup with solid hitters mixed throughout the order......Madrigal is a beast for us....KJ is starting to get his stride. If we can make some progress on reducing the amount of runners left on base, that will go a long ways in reducing the pressure off of our pitchers. Should be a fun year for the team........

Obviously, you don't know how this works. The SEC, ACC, Big 12 losing only shows how tough things are in that part of the country and the winners get elevated but the guys that have a bad week is an aberration and they don't fall. Everyone knows that no one in the upper left corner of this country plays good baseball.
Bubble teams from this quarter of the country don't make the dance.
