So i see Hufanga is listed at ATH even though most of his film is Qb highlights. He is definitely spread option capable and isn't built like a pocket qb and throws sidearm sometimes.
But as the top 2018 recruit in the state is it conceivable Beavs offer the local talent the opportunity to play QB? Might be worth a shot if that is where his heart is. Kid has wheels.

He's a one man team for the Raiders but I wouldn't want him at QB. Luton is running away with the QB job and the off-season focus on balance is finally coming to fruition. Playing saftey will take him the furthest in his football career.

While he's a nice HS QB because of his athleticism, he's still a bit raw - he's on a completely different level as a safety. I actually run into him a couple times a week, one of these times I'll ask him about QB. I usually don't bring up the recruiting stuff since I imagine he hears it all the time (I only say something if he's wearing green and yellow). I know he was heading to the scrimmage over the weekend. |

I graduated from CVHS but I graduated wayyyyyyy back in 2007  so I dont know too much about him personally but have watched him and would LOVE to have him on the team as a safety. SUPER athletic. If he wants to be a QB then I say we offer him as a QB. Anything to get him in uniform to help the team...mostly to keep him away from the ucks. |

I've watched six or seven CV games where he has quarterbacked and I don't think that QB is his college position (although he could do some 'wildcat' work if he stays on the offensive side).
I think he's probably looking at a DB role, although I have not seen him much as a receiver yet.
