jcjcathletics.comJones County Junior College's Bruce Stevens (Bay Springs) has been named the MACJC Player of the Week for the fourth time this season. Stevens, a 6-foot-8 sophomore forward/center, had 19 points, 11 rebounds, 5 blocks, 4 assists and 3 steals as No. 8 JCJC whipped East Central, 107-78. In an 86-68 victory over Meridian, Stevens had 17 points and 16 rebounds. Stevens is averaging 16.9 points and 12.9 rebounds per game. He has 16 'double-doubles' in 23 games. Stevens has been MACJC Player of the Week in weeks 6, 7, 13 and 15 this season. The Bobcats are 22-1 and will host Northwest at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the first round of the MACJC Tournament.
