Miss. State had the tying run on 3rd and the go ahead run on 2nd, with twos out in the top of the 9th, and the batter struck out. Duck starter went 8 innings and had 17 strikeouts. Amazing.
And how did hole get their game in, while 35 miles away we didn't?

There's plenty of days in the valley you can or can't play in Monmouth, 19 miles from Corvallis and it will be the opposite in Corvallis. A valley influenced by ocean air, mountain ranges and dominated by microclimates |
