Cal knocked off USC today. I was hoping for about 4 OTs but no such luck.

And sometimes I think the team that has played and successfully won a game on a tournament floor has a slight advantage in the next game by way of acclimatization. I think about the 3rd game in a row is where fatigue starts to build. Good news is our last game prep was for the same opponent, but yes, 4-5 OT periods would have been nice.
Go Beavs!

Saw an interview with Syd where she said they were hoping for another rematch with usc. I was thinking "be careful of what you wish for" as that last usc game left some scars on my psyche!

Tough to beat a team three times in a season. In this case, Cal back to back. Anigwe is almost unstoppable in the post. Need our bigs to stay out of foul trouble. Limiting the rest of Cal's scorers is a necessity.

Limiting the rest of Cal's scorers is a necessity. I am going to stand by our defense, and the hard-core road they had to deal with coming down the stretch. They took the best that the best teams in the conference could toss at them and in the end only two teams got through. Bring on whomever!
