Our RPI dropped after the weekend from 4 to 6. I guess it is less about playing Stanford, and more about playing Cal..... www.ncaa.com/rankings/basketball-women/d1/ncaa-womens-basketball-rpiInterestingly, Stanford (and UCLA's) RPIs remain unchanged. Oh, well, stay in the Top 16 and host, get hot at the Pac-12 tourney and flirt with a 1-seed? Go Beavs!

That's just how close #4-#6 are. There is 0.0007 points between Baylor and us. If they rounded off to the nearest 0.001 instead of 0.0001, we'd be tied.
1. Connecticut 29 0 .6685 1 .7280 2. Notre Dame 27 3 .6541 3 .6976 3. South Carolina 24 4 .6351 6 .6826 4. Baylor 28 2 .5932 34 .6712 5. Mississippi St. 27 3 .5993 28 .6706 6. Yes, and RPI is such a precise system, you must go out to the ten-thousandths place.

You can't fault the precision. It's the *accuracy* that is underwhelming.

Judging by the fact that we could play (2) top-10 RPI teams this weekend, and Baylor doesn't have the chance to play any, I assume that could propel us to at least #4 in the RPI?
