That's her stomping grounds. Expecting a big weekend from the hometown girl.

That's her stomping grounds. Expecting a big weekend from the hometown girl. Yes, it's near her hometown, but I'm not expecting a big weekend from a true frosh. I won't be surprised if she has some great games, but not expecting it.

I won't be surprised if she has some great games, but not expecting it. At this point she's played 30 games. I don't really consider her a "Freshman" any more.
What is "big"? I expect her to play very well. Do I expect her to ring up 20+? No. Do I expect her to meet or exceed her season averages, high level of competition notwithstanding? Yes I do.
When one plays above their average or expectations - to me, that's "big".
Syd always seemed to play well at ASU. Same with Jamie W at WSU. Just sayin'.

I won't be surprised if she has some great games, but not expecting it. Needs to ignore them all and stay within herself... a solid line of 7-12pts... 6-10 boards... 3-6 asst. and solid D. Tha's her game and all we need. I see Gabby and Katie McW as the biggest keys... they can't get the wide open looks and drives and shoot 2-12 / 0-6 anymore... they have to be threats so Syd is not under the gun all tourney.
