With Miss st. Loss today. If the ladys can win the pac12 tourney its very possible they end up a #1 seed. Might need Baylor to get one more loss. Right now the Pac12 has 4 teams in the RPI top 10. warrennolan.com/basketballw/2017/rpi-live

It's a game of Survivor. Notre Dame, Baylor, South Carolina, and OSU are four teams looking to fill three spots. The space between these four teams is about three angstroms wide. Baylor has one more game (v #16 Oklahoma), and we all have our conference tournaments. If all four win out, we're probably on the outside, just because our losses are the worst of the group. If any stumble, though, it will be very difficult for the committee to put a non-champion team over a champion team from the #1 RPI conference.

And next up for us in the Pac-12 tournament is the winner of the Cal/USC opening round game. While we have defeated either opponent this season, both gave us plenty to think about, and one gave us plenty to want to get payback for.....but be careful what you wish for. I personally will be hoping the Cal-USC game goes to 4 or 5 OT periods :-). Yes, if we survive the Pac-12 tournament unscathed we will be very deserving of a #1 seed, which would be pretty freaking exciting!
Go Beavs!
