I really like how Kat Tudor is developing.... Great outside shot when she gets that split second to plant her feet. Growing well on defense. Runs the floor well. Finishes layups. Really positions herself well for rebounds. Lots of positive energy with her teammates on the floor and bench. Shows emotion.... Quick hands, gets steals. Great fundamental understanding of the game, clearly comes from a great program (St. Mary's).
I really think she will be one of those "special" Beaver hoopsters before her career is all said and done here. And SR has had the luxury of bringing her along this season..... Note that she is about to take over position #5 in the record books in terms of freshman class 3 point makes. The player she will overtake for that feat - none other than Jamie Wiesner.
That not to say there are lots of other youngsters developing on the bench, just have been meaning to "call her out".
Go Beavs!

Short memory. That's the mentality you need from your 3-point shooting guards.

Tremendous upside me thinks. Quickest catch and release of any player I have seen in a long time.

Somehow I had this idea that she was a junior and I was thinking during the game that it's too bad we only have her for one more year; but then to realize that she's only a freshman and we're going to have her and MP in the backcourt as a part of our rotation next season makes me feel very very good about the future. I hope that Scott and his coaching staff never lose their recruiting touch because it's been spectacular.

And she plays with an attitude; no one is going to push her around on the floor and get away with it.
