Down 3-0. Buckeyes scored a run in the 1st on a double, ground out and wild pitch. In the fifth, the Buckeyes roped a 2 run homer. Going to bot 5th. Need to get bats going.

This one is getting away from us. here's hoping Donahue isn't getting a mental block against playing 2B. Donahue is racking up a lot of errors in limited time at second. It's nice to have that positional flexibility, but he's not going to get innings there if he keeps fielding poorly. |

This was one of those "bats go silents after ripping off 10 runs on 12 hits in the previous game" things. Id much rather win 6-2 than 12-2. 6 Is where this team should just about be per game, and when you get too many one day, it evens itself out later. As we all know, baseball is a game of averages. Plus, we are bound to have a cold day once in a while. Expect better things tomorrow.

Agreed. I'm not sure the errors cost us this game but if we don't get on top of it they will down the road. The offense can't be on fire every day/game and I haven't lost hope.... but we aren't good enough anywhere to be committing 3 errors a game regularly. Plus that just isn't Beaver Baseball  |
