Tweedt is sitting 87-89 with his fastball. Just missing on a lot of pitches, but close. Ump has a tight zone, but good.

Cadyn's line drive was 390. Barreled up. Madrigal's line drive was smoked as well, but 3B was near the line.
Sam's 87 mph fastball must be a cutter rather than a 2-seemer because the late movement is so sharp. This inning he had more sliders--my guesses anyway. Looking sharp now.

Here's to a lot more of these big, comfortable spread games. Felt like we had a real issue last year with not capitalizing on chances to break games open.

Gambrell looks so much like DrewR out there. Easier delivery and arm motion. Command will come. Good, sharp breaking ball. Good chane-up. Just catching a little too much of the plate. Good looking freshman.

Then on the suggested video after that plays is a great prank. Greg Maddux dresses as a sound man for Kris Bryant BP. GM fills in at the end. Couple great lines as GM is pitching. KB: What sorcery is this?
Then after it's over the sound man asks for his bat. Sign it to Greg Maddux. They laugh. Then KB says you still want my bat? GM: No
