Good for him. I am absolutely amazed that he is still banging around in professional ball. I really never thought he could hit well enough to make it there. He obviously has great defensive skills, but kudos to him for making it this long.

He obviously has great defensive skills, but kudos to him for making it this long. It seems like a lot of former Beaver players hang around pro baseball longer than their skills should allow them to. I think that speaks well of Pat Casey's coaching ability and that these guys bring a bit more to the table than just their on-field baseball skills. |
