Looks like the rain that starts in Oregon Wednesday will follow us to Surprise. Weekend is looking a bit wet.

What do you see for the second weekend of baseball in Surprise. Please say no rain predicted! It will be nice. However, the coldest rain I have endured was at the Surprise complex when the Beavers played on a Texas Rangers field. Of course, I was dressed for Arizona. |

I follow the National Weather Service site for my weather. It only goes out 7 days so no predictions yet for the second weekend. All right, MarK, it is raining in Surprise, but it is 61 degrees. It rains for a few minutes and is then instantly dry. In Bend, it is 34 degrees, foggy, and snowing. In. Portland, it is 43, raining, and you go outside and grow mold, mildew, and moss on top of the other layers of mold, mildew and moss. Hope to see you next week. Bring your own beer, though, as the border guards apparently don't let good beer into Arizona.

Bought our beer at Costco in San Diego and then smuggled it in past immigration.  |

Pretty fair beer selection and prices at the Winco on Bell Rd. Just west of Stump parkway. Just save the Union Jack for me though. ;-)
